Subject admired your determination to make the gardening possible
Comments: Well, done Ken. I didn't realise how much work you have put in to make garden fruitful.... Still you have the great benefit now to plant, see them growing and eating them..What better than eating fresh home grown vegetables? Take care. Polly xxx

Subject Hello Ken
Comments: Hello, Ken.
I sent you a message through Facebook, then clicked on your web site. This site answered the question I asked in the message. IT'S REALLY YOU!!! You helped me (a total stranger) during a desperate time in my life, and I shall never forget you. It was in 2005 when you helped me launch a web site for my husband's novel. At that time you used the e-mail address no1rumrat@aol.com. I have always left it in my address book for sentimental reasons filed under "Ken in England".
Best wishes to you! Karen Leach

Subject HMS JAGUAR
Comments: Iremember Jaguar when she was on the Cape Station at Simon's Town. At the time,I was doing my national service in the SAN,serving in SAS VRYSTAAT a Type 15 frigate as part of the TAS division.
Those were good years with much friendly rivalry and good fellowship. "Snoekie" (Simon's Town) still occasionally sees the white ensign and the hospitality is as good as ever.
Yours Aye
Peter

Subject hms aberford
Comments: i was on aberford on trip to denmark kiel canal etc back through caladonian canal can you remember ma s kitchen sunday nights i left and spent the next 9 years in submarines happy days why did we leave
Guestbook Administrator's Comment: Hi Bill.
Afraid the memory is on it's way out these day, but I do remember the trip though the Keil Kanal and the visit to Copenhage, What a great run ashore! The Caledonian Canal was something else! Even is we had to operate the locks our selves - with a little help from tourists.
I als remember Ma's Kitchen on a Sunday nights. We had some good times there too. Like you, I went on to submarines but didn't last long as I had sinus problems and all these years later, what is it 50? I am still having sinus troubles.
No, I wish I had stayed in, even if I went into the Merchant after my service.
